Spintronic device group
IIT-Hyderabad
Thin-film Deposition
Magnetron sputtering system
Magnetic and non-magnetic multilayer thin film heterostructures are grown using DC & RF magnetron sputtering tool.
Characterization
Structural, Morphological & Static and dynamic magnetic measurements
Tools like FMR, MOKE imaging, PPMS are used for magnetic characterization and GI-XRD, AFM, FESEM & TEM are used for structural and morphological characterization.
Device fabrication
Lithography & FIB
We use maskless photo-lithography and focused ion beam (FIB) techniques to fabricate devices.
Simulations
OOMMF, Mumax3
Micromagnetic simulations are carried out to investigate the domain wall and skyrmion dynamics to support the experimental observations.
